JAMAICA – Out of Many,One People

Jamaica was never on my top 10 bucket list, and I wasn't really planning on visiting it soon till the pandemic hit in 2020 and Jamaica became one of the few countries welcoming American tourists. After being cooped in for so long my travel bug flared up and I had to get away. While researching [...]

There is so much beauty around us and in the world if we could only let ourselves see it. I believe we only have one life to live and should make the best of it so I try everyday to see something new or something old in a new way, I love being creative and travel is a passion. I'm a solo traveller and would like to encourage many more to take a step out on their own. This website is where I share my life journey. Hope my craziness inspires you :)

Happy( belated) Eid Mubarak to all my Muslim friends. I applaud all those who were able to complete the month of fasting, those who couldn’t, there is no judgment here as I can’t do it either. I hope the month brought you clarity and spiritual fulfillment.
From the first time I saw a picture of the siwa salt pools, it was love at first sight and I knew a trip to Egypt won’t be complete till I swam in these salty waters. Getting there was a long arduous 11hours bus drive from Cairo yet worth every discomfort. Swimming or to be exact, floating in these pools is a unique experience. You feel like a buoy and without control. What ever you do, avoid getting it in your eyes.
I love traveling and discovering new places and I’ll like to share these experiences and places with others. Content creation isn’t easy when you travel alone but when you find a place as beautiful as @benben.dhara you know you have to find a way to share it. This was a day at the pool :). I’m sorry but I’m about to spam you with pictures from this place 😛
Egypt, land of the pharaoh, land of history, seat of civilization and home to a world wonders. There are numerous reasons why Egypt is on many bucket lists but for me it was the history that fascinates me, the impressive structures that were built without the sophisticated tools we now have. Egypt as enchanting as it is, was one of my top difficult countries to navigate. I hated the fact that many only saw 🤑when they looked at me, having a candid conversation wasn’t easy and though I spent close to 2 weeks there, I only know one person I felt comfortable and secure with. Even the tour guides are out for the money and look out for their country men than you. This was especially true in the touristy areas. To enjoy Egypt, you need to visit the more remote regions. They don’t take no for an answer and pester you incessantly. More on this later.
The world is beautiful, humans, not always. We need to live in harmony.
Happy Valentine’s Day. True love is peaceful
